The first Digital Opportunities project case study is now available to be downloaded.
The CoWs in Karamea case study looks at Karamea Area School’s participation in the Mobile Laptops (MOBLAP) project, which started in 2003 and finished recently, and involved two schools from clusters in the Bay of Plenty and West Coast.
The audio links on the right relate to the multi-media day held at the school. Junior students chose an animal to write a poem about; they made a PowerPoint slide and then laid a voice over to accompany their slide. To listen to Lily-May and Timothy's voice over, click on the audio link. Their slides are in the case study.
Teacher, Catherine Smart-Simpson says the multi-media day would not have been possible without the CoWS.
