Envision believes interactive whiteboards and associated collaborative classroom technology helps to create teacher-led group learning that stimulates creativity and enhances student and teacher motivation.
Working with Massey University, Envision developed an ICT project that will involve a significant number of IWB ACTIVboard equipped schools to determine the best methods of use in a New Zealand context.
Using the Action Research framework, Project ACTIVate will develop and study innovative approaches to teaching and learning using IWB technology, with each school planning, implementing, analysing and evaluating their own projects.
