Opotiki College's mobile laptop case studies available
Opotiki College’s case studies into the use of mobile laptops at the school are now available.
The laptops were used across the curriculum. Two case studies show their use in special needs classes, where students used them to create PowerPoint presentations to tell stories, and show the construction of fairytales.
The case studies also include the laptops use in an English interactive writing class; and History, Social Studies and Geography classes where a teacher used the laptops to see if computer-based learning improved student attitudinal and engagement levels.
